Google Chrome is a popular Internet browser that is recognized as one of the best and most stable in the world. Developed on the basis of Chromium and the new Blink engine (the WebKit engine was used until April 2013), the browser gained popularity due to its functionality and high speed of opening pages. It should be noted that the Android version of the browser can be installed on version 4.0 and higher, and it does not support connecting extensions.
The address bar in Google Chrome also works as a search. When you enter text in the address bar, Google will offer its options for a key request or a list of previously opened pages. Of course, the default search engine is Google, but you can change this setting to Bing or Yahoo !. You can close a tab in two ways – by clicking on the cross or dragging it outside the touch screen. When a new tab is created, a menu appears with thumbnails of recently closed websites and a list of bookmarks. Google Chrome has “Read it Later” function – you can send tabs open on a desktop computer to your mobile device and view it later from there offline.
Spend less time and traffic, access content with one touch, protect your phone using Safe Browsing mode, use voice control, translate text on the screen, keep your privacy and do many other cool things with Google Chrome!
